Introduction:

Josh is an enthusiastic member of the team who has always had a keen interest in sport from a young age. However, having suffered several substantial injuries during his teenage years he had to stop playing sport completely for a significant amount of time. As a result of this Josh understands the struggle of getting fit after being relatively inactive; whether you’re training to get into peak physical condition or if you’re just starting out Josh will be able to empathise. Josh got into this industry due to his passion for helping others and enabling them to achieve feats they didn’t think possible; through fun and creative training sessions he will ensure you also meet and exceed your goals.

Client Testimonial:

“I booked a block of sessions with Josh when I first joined TSC in October 2019 as it had been a number of years since I had been a regular gym user. My original expectation was that, after this initial block, I would be back into the swing of things and able to manage on my own. From the very start, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Josh. After discussing my exercise history, aims and goals, Josh’s initial programme was well thought out, well planned and well monitored, and the sessions themselves with Josh challenging but good fun. I saw great results too, more quickly than I was expecting. I decided therefore to keep working with Josh going forward, with regular PT sessions in the gym alongside the workouts I did myself, following the programs Josh devised. This worked very well. Josh is very knowledgeable, well organised and adaptable, making sure what we were doing in the gym balanced well with and complemented the TSC exercise classes, swimming and cycling I was also doing. He would always make sure he took the time to explain the rationale behind the gym programmes he devised and the regular changes we made to the particular parts of those programmes, as I continued to improve. I found it really helpful also that he would set great targets to measure improvement: these targets continued to be challenging (which is what I wanted) and often, initially, I’d think “Not going to get to that….” but somehow, with hard work and Josh’s encouragement, those targets were hunted down. In summary, I feel it was a great decision to start, and then to continue, working with Josh and I’d have no hesitation at all in recommending him.” – Simon Dixon
